Law Office of Jennifer Messick, a law firm based in Anchorage, is sponsoring Karen Schudel, a participant of the Special Olympics Alaska Polar Plunge.
The Polar Plunge is an annual fundraiser that benefits Special Olympics Alaska, an organization that gives children and adults with intellectual disabilities opportunities for growth, joy, and increased community participation through sports training and athletic competitions. Since 1969, Special Olympics Alaska has been working to ensure that all people with an intellectual disability are respected, accepted, and afforded the chance to become more productive citizens.
On December 21, participants in the Polar Plunge will jump into the icy waters of Goose Lake for a wonderful cause, and the team at Law Office of Jennifer Messick will be cheering them on.
Law Office of Jennifer Messick is a long-term supporter of Special Olympics Alaska. Fred Valdez, an estate planning and family law lawyer at the firm, is a coach of the Special Olympics Alpine Ski team.
“I encourage everyone to come out to Goose Lake in support of Special Olympics Alaska. The organization is an invaluable resource that does so much good for the community, and I am proud to be a supporter,” said Fred Valdez.
